Rolf Nowotny

Was born in 1978 and he lives and works in Copenhagen. Nowotny’s work negotiates the materiality of the world and the language anchored to it attem- pting to bridge the gap between concrete and psy- chic landscapes. Recent exhibitions include Hard Words, Christian Andersen, Copenhagen (2014), Former i tillblivelse, Lunds Konsthall (2013), How Can I Sleep (solo), Christian Andersen, Copenhagen (2013) and Flat Bed, Joe Sheftel, New York (2013). Until recently he ran the exhibition space Fauna with his wife Olga Nowotny.
