Indipendenza presents two person exhibition by French artists Mélanie Matranga (b. 1985) and Guillaume Maraud (b. 1988).
Working with sculpture, film and the production of environments, Mélanie Matranga’s proposal for Indipendenza will consist in site specific wall-drawings, as well as textile-based works that play with the crafty genre of sewn appliqué, generating emotional and pop banners of sorts.
Mélanie Matranga has recently exhibited at Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2015) and at Frieze Projects Programme, London (2014).

Guillaume Maraud will present different sculptures that combine a variety of subtle collage and assemblage techniques, here applied onto inherently deceptive and counterfeit mass produced and branded object of desires…
Guillaume Maraud has recently had his first solo show at galerie Edouard Montassut, Paris.
