The artist duo Pennacchio Argentato (Pasquale Pennacchio and Marisa Argentato) work in the ‘window’ on a phrase made famous by Gottlieb Daimler, founder of Mercedes, used for the television commercials of the world-famous status-symbol brand. The reference to the models of success, luxury and power is actualized in the process of rewriting set off by a group of university students during the opening, causes a short circuit of sense by turning corporate communication into something ‘mundane’, a statement of choral frustration with the models imposed by society, which are based on selection and exclusion criteria.
