Press Release

Party Heroes is an exhibition on the heroes who have made celebrating an absurd style and a harmonious obsession.
Thus we celebrate the gallery's sixth anniversary in a very special way.
We will celebrate with Gino De Dominicis, who invites us to the cocktail to toast to the ‘Overcoming of the Second Principle of Thermodynamics’.

We will celebrate with Renzo Vespignani, who paints that delirious party in 1967 with the two women of his life.
We will celebrate with Alessandro Dandini de Sylva, who turns the lights of a club into a surreal vision of an eclipse with the artificial magic of a view camera.

We will celebrate with Emiliano Maggi, who welcomes us in his evanescent punk- renaissance scenario.
We will celebrate with Giovanni Copelli, who on a sensational screen tells us about a medieval joust that ends in an absurd banquet.

We will celebrate with Vinicius Jaime Vallorani, whose minimal signs on the canvas hide a world of fireworks, cocktails, and strobe lights.
We will celebrate with Laura Grisi, who brings a cake, or rather three.
And, finally, we will celebrate with Tano Festa.

There will be nothing left of this evening but flipped glasses, abandoned shoes, and faded memories scattered like his confetti.

Here, in the building where Georges Bizet wrote his masterpiece Carmen in 1875, Matt Copson premieres a bildungsroman opera in three laser-projected parts: Age of Coming, Coming of Age and Of Coming Age. His opera tells the story of a baby at odds with a vengeful god, who tries to convince him that life is miserable and cruel, and nothing more. On view High Art, Paris
