Sharon Eyal & Gai Behar: This Is Not A Love Show will run in conjunction with the exhibition Light and Space (Kraftwerk Berlin). Performances will run throughout December 2021 and January 2022 and include some of Eyal & Behar’s most famous works. Soul Chain, Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar, Ensemble tanzmainz
The series will survey major works including Half Life, a Staatsballett Berlin production, and the Berlin premiere of Soul Chain, a tanzmainz production, which won the German Theatre Prize DER FAUST in 2018, as well as LOV3, a trilogy featuring OCD Love, Love Chapter 2 and Chapter 3: The Brutal Journey of the Heart made by Eyal & Behar uniquely for L-E-V Dance Company.
Each of the pieces is adapted to be in dialogue with the industrialist architecture of Kraftwerk Berlin – a former power station known for hosting underground music and culture since the 1991 founding of legendary adjacent nightclub Tresor.

Love Chapter 2, LEV Dance Company
Eyal & Behar have gained worldwide acclaim for artistic creations that plunge audiences into a world of intense emotions, expressive movement and visceral soundtracks. Trained in classical ballet and a long-term member of the renowned Batsheva Dance Company under Ohad Naharin, Eyal has a style that merges physicality, striking delicacy and uninhibited passion. Behar is well known for having shaped Tel Aviv’s nightlife for years. Together their compositions are accompanied by the hypnotic beats of long-term musical collaborator Ori Lichtik, and characterised by nuanced expressions unique in contemporary dance.
