CURA.

The artist residency program curated by NAM – Not A Museum – saw six selected artists create six works inspired by a new relationship between man and environment, individual and community, nature and culture.

SUPERBLAST is a multidimensional project focused on questions like: What does it mean to create art today? How can we rebuild a balance between humanity, urban centres and the natural world? Is a new ecological vision possible? It is an art residency, an exhibition and will become a publication.

The digital archive supersuperblast.it – the interactive platform showcasing the investigation carried out by the six artists in residence – lives alongside the physical exhibition that took place at Manifattura from 16th to 18th September – IPER-collettivo and Oliviero Fiorenzi’s artworks are permanent and can be visited in Piazza dell’Orologio at Manifattura. 

supersuperblast.it collects the invisible, the living matter behind the work, extends it over time. Personal, theoretical and visual references, documents, static and moving images intertwine and develop in a free way. The site showcases the research that fueled each work alongside the visualization of the actual work.
