Produced on the occasion of the debut edition of the Basement Art Assembly Biennial (BAAB_Issue 00)—the underground and experimental biennial founded by CURA. in 2025—the first issue of BAAB #00 is a 48-page uncoated paper magazine, which aims to collect the theoretical premises of an independent biennial through texts by curators Ilaria Marotta and Andrea Baccin, as well as contributions by members of the advisory board composed of Nicolas Bourriaud, Anthony Huberman, and Lumi Tan.

Work descriptions by Costanza Paissan accompany images and works by the 26 participating artists. The publication includes an insert featuring the exhibition’s installation views and documentation of the public program, which—through rotating works, talks, performances, and actions—brought together local and international artists who intervened in and shared the biennial’s collective and transformative space.
